Join the Retail Fresh Delivery team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer where you will be responsible for planning testing efforts and executing on small to large enterprise level applications by translating functional requirements, project documentation, release notes into test requirements and scenarios. Additional responsibilities include developing and executing automated and manual test cases for regression, load, and performance testing, and coordinating with development teams for creating comprehensive test plans and execution.

  • Derive test strategies and test plans to effectively test the solution
  • Provide testing leadership to the project teams to execute the test plan
  • Developing and executing automated and manual test cases
  • Analyzing results and reporting defects
  • Integration, system, user acceptance, regression, load, and performance testing
  • Coordinating with development teams to plan testing efforts and oversee testing execution on small to large enterprise level applications by translating functional requirements, project documentation, User story acceptance criteria and release notes into test requirements and scenarios

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month's extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience
  • 4+ years of experience with automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium to create and execute test cases, track defects, and perform requirements of coverage.
  • 2+ years designing automation test strategies and frameworks with industry standard programming languages and frameworks such as Java, C#, Python, Typescript, or .NET
  • 2+ years of experience in writing SQL queries on RDBMS platforms like SQL Server, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience testing APIs, batch jobs, web-based and mobile front ends.
  • 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining automated tests using UI and/or API based test frameworks, development environments, and CI/CD tools.
  • 2+ years of experience testing Microsoft Azure tools such as Azure DevOps, Azure Data Lake

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in leading a team of SQA Analysts to plan, develop and execute testing to help deliver large enterprise solutions.
  • 3-4 years of experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with Test automation framework, such as:
  • Selenium / Appium
  • Postman / Newman
  • Gherkin / SpecFlow or Cucumber
  • RestSharp
  • Experience with Quality Center and Microsoft Test Manager
