REMOTE role for SailPoint IdentityIQ developer
Key Responsibilities:
  • 60% Development / 40% Support
    • Develop custom SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, connectors, and features using Java 17+
    • Implement and test new functionality, enhancements, and integrations (REST APIs, supporting services)
    • Maintain existing IAM systems, including patching, troubleshooting, and addressing escalated issues
  • Support: act as 3rd-tier support, maintaining systems the team develops (not help desk)
  • Participate in on-call rotation for system support and deployments (approx. one week per rotation)
  • Collaborate occasionally with senior team members; otherwise, work independently
Core Focus: Strong Java + SailPoint (NOT admin-heavy profiles)
  • Need candidates with hands-on Core Java coding (2+ years) - must be able to write code live without relying on tools/AI
  • Strong emphasis on custom development within SailPoint IIQ, not just configuration/support
Technical Must-Haves
Java
  • Ability to design classes and write logic from scratch
  • Comfortable with core concepts + real coding exercises
SQL
  • Solid experience with data modeling, joins, unions, aggregations
  • Able to write queries and design tables based on real scenarios
SailPoint / IIQ
  • Experience with:
    • Workflows, rules, provisioning
    • Customizations (Java/BeanShell within SailPoint)
    • Connector customization (not just OOTB)
    • UI configuration + some coding exposure
Pay Range:
  • $55/hr. - $60/hr.
