Our team operates in a multi‑cultural environment, collaborating closely with colleagues abroad. Our environment is built on AWS cloud technology and leverages a modern stack, including Java, Spring, and Angular.

We maintain a robust and efficient CI/CD pipeline using GitLab and an automated test framework based on Robot Framework, ensuring we deliver high‑quality features quickly and reliably.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Software Developer and Tester Engineer, you'll be responsible for the entire feature lifecycle, from code to quality. Your role will be critical in ensuring the reliability and robustness of our cloud solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining a comprehensive test suite for your features, including unit, integration, and automated functional tests using Robot Framework.
  • Designing and implementing robust backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring framework.
  • Creating and executing manual and automated tests to validate that features meet high‑quality standards.
  • Developing responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular.
  • Collaborating closely with UI designers, product owners, and other developers to define, design, and deliver new functionalities.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code for frontend, backend and test components.
  • Participating in code and test reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Managing code repositories and collaborating effectively using GitLab.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications across the full stack.
  • Producing all necessary internal technical documentation.

Mandatory Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong proficiency in Java development & in‑depth experience with the Spring framework.
  • Proven and extensive experience with test automation, specifically using Robot Framework.
  • Experience with Angular and modern web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Git for version control, ideally with GitLab.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design.
  • Good knowledge of SQL language and database interactions.
  • Strong focus on quality and testing.
  • Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment.

Valuable Experience:

  • Experience with RabbitMQ or other messaging queues.
  • Familiarity with Linux system administration for development environments.

  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure & Services (e.g., AWS concepts like EC2, S3, Docker, Kubernetes) to understand deployment environments.
  • Understanding of IT security principles for web applications.
  • Experience with other testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito for Java; Jasmine, Karma for Angular).
  • Experience using tools like Postman for API testing.
YOUR ASSETS
  • Rigorous, analytical, and critical thinker with excellent problem‑solving skills across the full stack.
  • A passionate advocate for quality and a test‑first approach to development.
  • Curious & innovative mindset, always looking for improvements and new solutions.
  • Security‑minded in application design and development.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
WHAT WE OFFER
  • A position in a company that has been growing the last years.
  • A long‑term secure job and a permanent contract in the future market of industrial communication and industry 4.0.
