You can help a company with a small project, test coding completed by another programmer, or find an entry-level position with a company willing to train you. Some companies allow you to work under the guidance of a senior programmer while you become familiar with the duties of the job.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Java programmer with no experience, and why are they important?
