Responsibilities:
Provide technical system solutions and determine the overall design
Develop and support modules and subsystems of the intranets
Document system requirements
Attend project meetings and communicate technical design points
Develop and document highly complex applications programs
Generate code and correct, convert, and/or modify existing code to meet specifications
Consult with system architects to analyze specified methods and procedures
Identify problems, and document specific requirements
Perform a variety of testing procedures, analyze test results, and correct problems
Provides technical assistance to less experienced personnel in the
resolution of systems related problems. Self-managed with the ability to
mentor others.
Required Skills:
Experience developing Java-based web applications
Experience developing complex web sites, workflows, and automated solutions in Java
Ability to assist in gathering, consolidating, and prioritizing
functional requirements and identifying/implementing technical solutions
Struts development to include general Java Web Development, Java/J2EE, and JSP
Experience working with Oracle, SQL and Web development tools
Knowledge of Websphere Application Server development / integration with Content Management System (CMS)
Strong coding and debugging skills
Exceptional trouble shooting and problem solving skills
