This role primarily centers on serving patients within a hospice setting, which presents unique challenges and dynamics. You will work with individuals facing end-of-life issues, providing them with the necessary emotional support to cope with their circumstances. • Active New York state license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field is required; higher degrees are preferred.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the mental health challenges associated with terminal illness and end-of-life care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to engage empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy models, particularly suited to a hospice care setting.
• Ability to effectively manage a high-volume, varied caseload, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and flexibility.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in hospice, palliative care, or a hospital-based setting.
• Experience in leading therapeutic groups and workshops.
• Familiarity with community organization collaboration and outreach initiatives.
