What is a Java production support role?

A Java Production Support role involves monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Java-based applications in a live production environment. Professionals in this role address incidents, resolve bugs, and ensure the uptime and performance of applications used by customers or internal teams. They may also work closely with development and operations teams to implement fixes, deploy updates, and optimize system performance.
