This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Python + AWS Engineer based in Netherlands.

This role sits within a modern, fully remote engineering environment focused on building and delivering scalable backend services across distributed, international teams. You will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of cloud-native applications using Python and AWS, supporting business-critical systems and APIs. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional and multicultural teams working on innovative, fast-evolving digital products. You will help ensure system reliability, performance, and security while contributing to API design and backend architecture decisions. The environment is highly collaborative, outcome-driven, and built for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges. Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Design and document APIs using OpenAPI specifications while ensuring strong API security and adherence to best practices.
