Job Summary
Serve as a Senior Developer delivering secure, scalable asset and wealth management applications using Java Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring AI, Python, NodeJS, RAG, and the broader Spring ecosystem. Build modern web interfaces using AngularJS and implement cloud-native patterns with Docker and Kafka in a hybrid work model to create resilient solutions that enhance client outcomes.
Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust microservices using Java and the Spring framework to support complex asset and wealth management processes with high performance and reliability.
  • Implement Spring Boot services integrating with upstream and downstream systems for seamless transaction processing and portfolio data consolidation.
  • Configure and manage Docker-based containerized environments across development, testing, and production with focus on scalability and deployment efficiency.
  • Develop responsive front-end components using AngularJS to deliver dashboards, trade workflows, and reporting solutions.
  • Build and optimize Kafka-driven event-based integrations for real-time data streaming, pricing updates, and analytics with strong fault tolerance.
  • Apply Spring Integration patterns to orchestrate complex workflows for trade processing, order management, and reporting.
  • Leverage Spring MVC and Core to create modular, maintainable, and testable code aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams in a hybrid environment to refine requirements and validate scenarios.
  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain high quality and performance standards.
  • Optimize application performance through profiling, tuning, caching, and efficient data access strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with security standards including authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and operational runbooks for ongoing support.
  • Support production releases and troubleshoot issues in containerized environments with sustainable solutions.

Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Java development with strong expertise in Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
  • Proven experience building cloud-ready microservices using Spring Cloud patterns such as configuration, service discovery, and resiliency.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker, including containerization, optimization, and collaboration with platform teams.
  • Solid expertise with Kafka including topic design, consumer groups, serialization, and monitoring.
  • Experience developing AngularJS single-page applications with modular architecture and secure API integrations.
  • Deep domain knowledge in asset and wealth management including portfolios, instruments, trade lifecycle, settlements, and reporting.
  • Experience with integration patterns using Spring Integration or similar tools across financial systems.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills ensuring data consistency and traceability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a hybrid work environment.
  • Awareness of financial technology trends, cloud-native development, and secure coding practices.

Salary and Other Compensation
  • Annual salary range: $83,250 - $112,500 depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.
