Job description

Need: Highly committed and passionate Java Microservices Engineer with strong technical acumen and the ability to work within a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will bring both hands-on expertise and strategic thinking to help modernize the firm's systems and support complex capital markets operations.
* Solid understanding of system design and software engineering principles
* Exposure to capital markets, with a focus on prime brokerage or asset management being a strong plus
* Experience with trade and cash flow processing, especially in relation to swap asset management
* Ability to break down complex systems into scalable and maintainable microservices
* Comfortable with performing some routine or lower-priority tasks as part of broader team responsibilities
Job Requirements
1 Senior Java Role:
  • 70-80% hands on design, coding, testing &release (entire SDLC) of complex components
  • 20-30% provide technical oversight (design, code review etc.) to team members

Essential Qualifications
  • Experienced (10+yrs) in hands-on coding in Java/Advanced-Java, Spring, Microservices
  • Quick Learner - ability to learn the new environment and existing application in a fast-paced manner.
  • Team player - ability to work with globally distributed team and ensure pro-active collaboration
  • Ability to to work in Agile teams.

Essential Technical skills
  • Expert in Java/Spring, Microservices
  • Experienced working in Even based systems
  • Experienced working in Messaging frameworks (MQ/Solace)
  • Experience in Automation - Build/Release/Testing (Team City/ Nexus/Maven/GIT)
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Windows

Desired Technical Skills/Soft Skills
  • MS SQL Server
  • UI (Angular/ExtJS)
  • Capital Markets, Investment banking domain knowledge
