Withum is currently seeking an intern to work in our Orange County Office 2-4 days a week and our San Diego office 1 day a week.
This position requires you to be full time 40 hours a week for 12 weeks. Starting as soon as possible.
Under supervision of the Services Manager of Information Technology, the IT Services Intern of Withum provides operational support to the entire IT Organization and, potentially, first and second level hardware, software, and networking support. Supported by IT team members and management in other Withum offices, this individual is accountable for providing outstanding customer service and technical support to staff in the local office as well as remote team members throughout the Firm.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Primarily support our offices, with occasional travel to local firm offices and provide operational assistance to the IT support staff
  • Work with local resources and external vendors to ensure shipment and delivery of assets
  • Document, track, and monitor tasks to ensure a timely resolution and effective communication to all parties involved
  • At the discretion of the local Service Representative, act as a supplemental resource for technology initiatives
  • Assists management in proactively meeting the technology needs of the office by keeping IT management abreast of issues and activities
  • Work closely with members of the IT team to ensure successful completion of technology projects throughout the Firm
  • Traveling to other offices as needed
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Position Requirements:
  • Senior and/or master's bachelor's degree in Information Technology
  • Understanding of end-user support in a Microsoft environment required - experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 and/or Windows 11, hardware and the MS Office Suite
  • Java, HTML and SQL coding experience a plus
  • Knowledge of mobile devices, phones, tablets, laptops, etc.
  • Knowledge of mobile technology including mobile OS platforms and hardware functionality
  • Knowledge of and the ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals (networking fundamentals a plus)
  • Must be self-motivated and dedicated to continual personal and professional improvement
  • Strong ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are imperative for documentation and the translation of technical subjects to non-technical staff
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to travel to remote offices as needed
