BUSINESS MARKETING COORDINATOR
I. Position Objective
To support the Marketing department's initiatives through the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, coordination of events, and preparation of advertising content to enhance brand presence and support sales goals.
II. Major Areas of Accountability
  • Marketing Collateral Management: Develop, create, and update marketing materials, including product brochures, sales sheets, and presentations, ensuring all content is accurate, current, and aligns with brand standards.
  • Trade Show & Event Coordination: Assist in the planning, logistics, and execution of industry trade shows and corporate events. This includes helping with booth design, coordinating shipping, on-site setup, and event coverage.
  • Content & Advertising Support: Prepare and adapt content for use across various advertising mediums, such as digital, print, website and social media. Collaborate with the marketing team to support advertising campaigns and communication strategies.
  • General Marketing Support: Provide general administrative and project support to the marketing team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Fulfill other marketing-related duties and projects as assigned.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

A. TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIA
  1. Previous Related Experience - 0-2 years of experience in a marketing or related role. Internship experience in marketing, communications, or event management is a plus.
  2. Technical Skills Required
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Creative mindset with an ability to contribute new ideas.
    • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and with minimal supervision on assigned tasks.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
  3. Education (Minimal Education Needed) Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  4. Other Certification/Training Required To Gain Function-
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong proficiency in digital Software
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) is preferred.
    • Image editing and creation such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar. Will also need working knowledge of website design and coding using HTML, JAVA and/or navigating Word Press.
  5. Other Requirements (Physical/Mental Demand, Schedule/Hours, Travel)
    • Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required.
    • Frequent travel; irregular schedule. Must perform all duties to the same standards while travelling as would be expected in the office.
    • Physical demands may include standing for long periods at events and lifting materials up to 25 lbs.
