Job description

Job Overview
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team of developers supporting our Federal customer in Washington, DC. This position supports the development of mission-critical applications for a federal government client focused on national security.
This position will be tasked to provide support in the development of a Java application with a PostgreSQL backend and Tomcat application server. The successful candidate will be developing in AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology. The developer will work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application.
Support will include, but is not limited to, the gathering, analysis, and development of specifications/requirements provided by the system owner. The developer may be tasked with supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of life cycle development. The contractor will need to possess strong user interface skills using Angular 2+ application development. Also, they must possess a strong foundation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

Requirements
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
  • 10 years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
  • 5 years of experience architecting software solutions based on customer requirement
  • Strong experience with Java (JEE Development)
  • Strong experience JavaScript/Ajax Application Development
  • 5 years experience with Angular version 2 or above
  • Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA and Spring Security experience
  • Tomcat experience
  • PostgreSQL experience
  • Experience in Test Driven Development
  • JUNIT experience
  • AWS experience

Preferred Additional Skills and Qualifications
  • Atlassian tools: Gitlab/Jira
