Java Developer - Sourcing
Location: Bentonville, Arkansas (Partial Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking curious, outcome-focused engineers with a product mindset for a high-visibility initiative. This role involves building and deploying production-ready, AI-powered services using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will focus on delivering tangible results, solving practical problems, and should be able to explain the business case behind their technical work. This role has potential for full-time conversion.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy production-ready, AI-powered services using Generative AI.
• Serve as a strong backend engineer on the GenAI stack.
• Focus on delivering outcomes and tangible results rather than just output.
• Demonstrate a product-oriented mindset by understanding and explaining the business case behind technical work.
• Engage in unit and functional testing to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate effectively with the team and articulate technical concepts.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in unit and functional testing.
• Experience coding with AI.
• Strong communication skills for effective team interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack experience, specifically with React.
• Experience from a product-focused company.

Work Environment
This role requires an onsite presence 4 days per week in Bentonville. An allowance for relocation time may be provided.
