Job description

Salesforce Development Specialist III/SR
Oklahoma City, OK
Long Term Contract

As a Salesforce Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
Designing, developing, and supporting solutions within the Salesforce platform, with increasing levels of independence based on role level.
Designing, coding, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining Salesforce applications and technical solutions, including Apex classes, Lightning Components, integrations, automation processes, reports, and other platform enhancements.
Data management practices that promote the accessibility, security, integrity, and timely delivery of business-critical information
Contributes to system continuity and operational resilience by supporting deployments, participating in disaster recovery activities, and maintaining the stability and availability of Salesforce applications and related integrations.
Education/Experience:
A bachelor's degree in management information systems or a related field is required for Levels III and Senior. Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education.
Level III: Requires 8+ years of experience in the development, administration, or support of Salesforce platforms. At least one year of experience supporting Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is required. Financial institution experience is preferred.
Sr Level: Requires seven years of progressively responsible experience in the development, administration, or support of Salesforce platforms. At least three years of experience supporting Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is required. Financial institution experience is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Salesforce-related certifications (e.g., MuleSoft, Apex, Lightning) are required at the Senior level. Specialized training in Salesforce development tools, technologies, and platforms is required for Levels II and III and preferred for Level I.

In order to be successful as a Salesforce Development Specialist you must possess these qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, development frameworks, security models, integration methodologies, and deployment best practices appropriate to the assigned role level.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with technologies applicable to the assigned development discipline, which may include: .NET (C#), , MVC, Java, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, Next.js, API development, XML, JSON, MuleSoft, DataWeave, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC),
  • Salesforce Flows, PowerShell, SQL, and related technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, assignments, and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, development tools, and related technologies required to perform assigned duties.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development principles, programming languages, and technologies applicable to the assigned development discipline.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in completing assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other cross-functional partners while building and maintaining positive working relationships.
