Developer provides programming and implementation support to all areas of the organization. The Developer is responsible for providing technical assistance and automation services to computer system users of the credit union. The Developer will be able to adapt to an ever-changing trending (IOS and Android, Kony Visualizer, Kony Mobile Fabric, JavaScript, json.Net, XML, etc.) technologies and stay abreast of the latest programming methodologies. The Developer will collaborate with a diverse programming workforce for providing technical assistance and automation services to computer systems, members and users of the credit union. The Developer is looked upon to give sound and accurate technical advice. They assist in the development of policies and procedures that directly affect the efficiency and effectiveness of their job functions.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am -4:00pm or 9am- 5pm. This position will be a hybrid model both in person and remote with minimum of onsite expectation of 50% or as needed.
In this position, you will
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Reactive Native, .NET C#, JavaScript, Java, XML and JSON. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Project Involvement: Contribute to software development projects from concept to deployment, supporting timely and successful delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, to gather requirements and assist in designing solutions. Assist in the planning, estimation, and prioritization of development tasks and projects.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Suggest and implement improvements to existing systems and processes to enhance functionality, performance, and user experience. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and team productivity.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Contribute to the documentation of software development processes, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides. Assist in preparing project status reports for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
