Job description

Description * Work with customers to understand business needs and to define solution use cases
  • Provide consultation on art of the possible during visioning of customer solutions
  • Work with customer end users and SMEs to refine use cases, technical approaches and implementations
  • Collaborate with and support multiple development teams to create solutions involving analytics, visualization, applications, and data integrations
Perform reviews and make recommendations for improving production data pipelines and ontology with respect to SME data quality expectations and emerging customer needs Develop solutions with and mentor team members on Foundry tools
Provide programming support and technical approach for integrations of external customer applications with Foundry Follow and improve established standards and processes
Keep up to date with current programming tools and practices Manage requirements analysis, development, traceability, modeling and associated documentation
  • Provide necessary systems solutions documentation and visualization
  • Mentor local junior engineers and analysts
  • Engage with employer-provided Palantir training
Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training: Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required Experience: * 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Required Experience:
  • Translation of business process and program workflows into solution architecture
  • Proficiency in Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, TypeScript, React, and SQL
  • Architecture frameworks and modeling language such as DoDAF, SysML, and UML
  • Agile software methodology process tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Proficiency with Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) tools
Familiarization with legacy US Navy data systems Security: Must be a US citizen
Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance Physical Requirements: Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
