Role: Senior Java Resource with SOA Experience
Duration: Contract to hire job
Location: Arlington, VA (Locals Preferred)
Only GC and Citizens
The qualified candidate must possess the ability to translate business requirements to web development Or software development concepts. The candidate must possess the ability to perform hands-on coding and understand architecture of applications. This candidate will assist a manager in translating user testing and customer support feedback into technical requirements. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related discipline.. A wide degree of creativity, latitude and ability to lead is expected from a qualified candidate.
Requirements:
  • Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP. Experience with application frameworks like Struts 1/2, Spring and Hibernate.
  • SOA Experience is a must.
  • Experienced in SQL and experience in databases like Oracle, IBM DB2 or MS-SQL Server.
  • Experience with Ruby would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with latest technologies like mobile development (iPhone 3.X/4.X, Android 1/2/3, Blackberry 5/6) and app store provisioning for delivery and distribution will be a big plus.
  • Familiarity with new software development paradigms like noSQL, memcache, Amazon Web Services will be a big plus.

Candidate should be flexible going for an in-person interview after the telephonic round.
