Job description

Java Developer

6+ months contract in Chicago, Illinois. Need local profiles only. Fully onsite role. Visa- no CPT/H1B.

Requirements:

Angular, JavaScript, HTML, Java (need 4-6 years). Prospect to customer they will be looking for someone in the middle of a team that is 13 people. They are working on modernizing their tech stack with microservices.

  • They want someone with DB2 ideally, and NOSQL Databases.
  • They prefer that they see a full stack person.
  • They want strong fundamentals and are willing to teach people Angular or certain syntax but they need strong fundamentals.
  • Want Spring Boot Microservices experience.
  • OOP languages is highly valued. Moving towards service oriented architecture away from the AS400.
  • These are internal applications focused on order-based systems.

Notes:

Interviews- 2 rounds of interviews. First round with Jeremy and a couple team members, second round is a panel with 5-6 additional team members. Candidates will have to take a coding assessment test when they are called in for a onsite interview (if they are local) or they will have to do it virtually during the interview if they are non-local. This is done before the panel interview.
