Position Description: The Java Developer designs, develops, and maintains applications.

Minimum/General Experience: 5 years of Java development experience

Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Excellent proficiency in Java development
  • Above average proficiency in Spring Boot framework
  • Above average experience with Docker for containerization
  • Above average experience with Kubernetes to manage containerized applications
  • Above average knowledge of building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
  • Experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Proficiency with Git for version control
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology development environment
  • Experience supporting a federal agency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience supporting development in a healthcare environment (preferred)

Acceptable Credentials

Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designs, builds, and maintains efficient and reliable Java code using Spring Boot

Compensation & Benefits: The annual projected pay range for this position is $100,370.00 - $141,109.00 with consideration being given to various factors including but not limited to qualifications, experience, job responsibilities, and geographic location.
