Scope of Work: The Navy Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case Execution Modernization Initiative (CEMI) will provide the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Foreign Nationals the enterprise case management system replacement for MISIL. The CEMI will serve as the case execution capability to comprehensively and efficiently access, integrate, manage, track, evaluate, and transfer case execution, logistics, requisition, procurement, contracting, funding, financial, accounting, and services data across the FMS community activities. Modus21, LLC is developing the Sea Services Security Assistance Logistics and Execution (S3ALE) application as part of a systems-of-systems solution to replace the obsolete MISIL system. Responsibilities: Serve as a software engineer on a scrum team, responsible for the execution of the following tasks:
• Work with Appian platform essentials and utilize knowledge of Business Process Management & Reengineering
• Interpret and troubleshoot technical issues within Appian design objects • Appian Developer will be accountable for consistent delivery of functional software - sprint to sprint, release to release
• Responsible for QA readiness of software work (end-to-end tests, unit tests, automation)
• Precision in software development practices and procedures
• Develops original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts
• Responsible for supporting implementation of initiatives
• Works on sophisticated assignments and often multiple phases of a project
• Explains technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients
• Performs systems analysis activities Requirements/Experience: • BA/BS minimum in technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Mathematics • Required Security+ Certification
• Ability to Obtain Appian Certified Developer or Appian Certified Senior Developer Certifications • 1-2 years of experience hands-on software development experience in a service & object-oriented environment using Java and Appian technologies • 8+ years of experience in successful software delivery or software development • Knowledge of Appian platform essentials and suite of capabilities • Strong familiarity with project the software engineering lifecycle • Experience with configuration, deployment, and testing of enterprise software applications, specifically Appian • Familiarity with software delivery methodologies such as agile/scrum • Strong problem-solving and design skills • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills. • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment • Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment; excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a self-guided manner; excellent organizational skills • Must be a US citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) TOP SECRET Security Clearance
