Java Developer | Austin, TX | Hybrid

MENTION VISA AND LOCATION
15+ YEARS NEEDED NO JUNIORS

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to support the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of large-scale applications. The role involves SQL database work, Linux-based troubleshooting, performance tuning, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee coding, testing, debugging, and test data preparation.

  • Develop flowcharts, diagrams, instructions, manuals, and technical documentation.

  • Analyze requirements, application changes, and new project proposals.

  • Evaluate database schemas, write and run SQL, deploy packages/triggers, and improve performance.

  • Troubleshoot application issues using logs, system messages, memory, disk, and connectivity analysis.

  • Coordinate work, track progress, and help define standards and procedures.

  • Create and maintain backup and restore processes to support business continuity.

Required Skills

  • 15+ years of Java experience.

  • 10+ years of SQL database experience.

  • 8+ years supporting large applications in a team environment.
