Project Manager Asset Management

We are looking for a Project Manager with strong Asset Management domain expertise to lead and deliver strategic initiatives across front, middle, and back-office functions.

The role requires managing cross-functional programs spanning sales & distribution, investment operations, regulatory change, and technology transformation, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project/program delivery within asset management domain
  • Plan, execute, and govern initiatives across: Sales / Marketing & Distribution, Investment Operations, Regulatory & Compliance Programs, Technology Transformation
  • Coordinate across business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors
  • Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and quality
  • Project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Drive Agile delivery execution (Sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups)
  • Act as Scrum Master when required
  • Ensure clear communication and stakeholder alignment across global teams
  • Deliver projects in alignment with governance standards and best practices
Domain Expertise Asset Management (Mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of: Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions
  • Hands-on knowledge of investment products: Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, ETFs
  • Experience with: Portfolio Management, Trade Lifecycle & Settlement, NAV Calculation & Fund Accounting, Performance & Attribution
  • Regulatory knowledge: SEC, FINRA, AML, KYC, ESG reporting
  • Familiarity with: Order Management Systems (OMS), Market Data & Reference Data
  • Experience in: Sales & Distribution in Asset Management, Institutional & Intermediary business
Technical & Delivery Skills
  • Strong Project Management tools: JIRA, Confluence
