Job Description:
An established engineering services organization supporting federal and defense initiatives is seeking an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to contribute to advanced modeling, analytics, and simulation efforts. This role involves working on mission-critical programs that support national defense initiatives, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and software development teams.
The position is fully onsite in Dayton, OH and focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing system models and engineering artifacts for complex systems and systems-of-systems environments. You will play a key role in building structured models that support analysis, design, and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain system models using MBSE methodologies
  • Create architecture models and represent system behavior using SysML
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate modeling efforts
  • Produce and present technical documentation and engineering artifacts
  • Analyze system data to support design decisions and improve system performance
  • Contribute to modeling and simulation initiatives within defense-focused programs

Required Qualifications:
