What is a Java Developer W2 role?

A Java Developer W2 role refers to a Java development position where the employee is hired directly by a company or through a staffing agency as a W2 employee, rather than as a contractor (1099) or through a third-party vendor. In this role, the developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. Java Developers in this role typically work on projects involving web applications, enterprise services, or backend systems using Java technologies.

How does a Java Developer in a W2 role typically collaborate with other teams throughout the software development lifecycle?

As a Java Developer in a W2 role, you will often work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA testers, business analysts, project managers, and UI/UX designers.
