Job description

We have created an event technology ecosystem that connects the dots on multiple aspects of an event. We're pioneering integrated RFID and NFC scanning hardware, edge computing, real-time mobile transactions and backend processes - each with the ability to be customized to specific event needs and goals. Our team is trusted by industry leaders such as See Tickets, Live Nation, C3 Presents, and the NBA.
As a Full Stack Engineer for WRSTBND, you'll:
  • Develop new features and functions on the WRSTBND platform
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code
  • Collaborate with leadership, project managers, and third-party clients to achieve desired solutions
  • Research and learn new technologies that enhance the WRSTBND platform
  • Monitor infrastructure and logs to optimize code to minimize waste of resources
  • Document implemented features and functions

You don't have to check all the boxes, but we think these skills are important:
  • 4-6 years of software development experience in a professional environment
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
  • Familiarity with low-code development platforms, especially Mendix
  • Experience in modern web frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS, Typescript, ES6, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and/or CSS3
  • Experience in development for mobile platforms, including mobile-first web page design as well as native app development using Swift, Kotlin, Java, or React Native
  • Extensive experience building mobile applications, single page web applications, and responsive websites.
  • Experience defining, developing and maintaining REST-based interfaces.
  • Experience with backend development concepts, including Java or a similar strongly-typed, object-oriented language, SQL, relational database concepts, and multithreading
  • Experience with building large scale high performance transactional systems and platforms
  • Experience with deployment tools and techniques such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Buddy, Jenkins, and AWS services
  • Familiarity with ticketing and live events, including music festivals, conventions, and sporting events
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle, including best practices when using version control software such as Git
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Documenting projects so that other team members can easily understand scope, function, and implementation
  • A willingness to learn new skills quickly and find the best solutions to new projects and endeavors

Pay Scale: $90,000-$120,000 Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
