Description
Our Park Maintenance Division is looking to hire two (2) full-time seasonal Night Park Maintenance Workers to join our team!
Our season runs from approximately April 1st through September 30th, each year.
Under the direction of a Park Maintenance Crew Leader, the Night Shift Park Maintenance Worker primarily works independently at night, cleaning and maintaining restrooms and park grounds.

The night shift position specifically requires a person who can think independently and make good decisions with little guidance.

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
This position works 10:00pm-6:30am Friday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Sunday. You may be asked to report to the Douglas shop at Savikko Park or the Mendenhall valley shop at Dimond Park.
Typical Responsibilities
The Night Shift Park Maintenance Worker perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work in the cleaning, upkeep and maintenance of CBJ parks and recreational areas.
If selected for this position you will:
- Clean and disinfect restrooms
- Empty trash cans
- Clean parks and shelters for use by the public
- Perform park maintenance tasks with a variety of hand and power tools including pressure washers, skill saws, chainsaws, rakes and shovels
- Operate a variety of small tractors, pick-up trucks and flatbed dump trucks
