Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite)

Duration: Full-time only

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of java concepts like java Streams, Threads, Collections
  • Advanced Proficiency in Java programming, including experience with Spring boot frameworks vs web services
  • Proficiency required in setting up java projects using maven or gradle and should be aware of BOM in pom.xml and should be able to handle version conflicts effectively through POM.xml
  • Should know how to configure logging in java projects and debugging and monitoring logs in GCP
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Apache Beam programming model and its Java SDK
  • Proven experience with GCP services, particularly Dataflow, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and potentially other relevant services like Cloud SQL etc

Roles & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and operate high scale applications across the full engineering stack using Java
• • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software in google cloud with experience designing and developing microservices using Java, GCP SDKs, GKE/Kubernetes
• . Building data intensive applications using PostGresDB, BigQuery, GCP Dataflow
• • Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.)
• Work across teams to integrate our systems with existing internal systems
• . Actively participate in Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and other team activity
• Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality. Participate in a tight-knit, globally distributed engineering team.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on network, or service operations and quality.
• Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information. Actively participate in Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and other team activity.
• GCP Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred
