Overview

Creates, develops, and deploys digital solutions and systems by leveraging advanced technical skills to design and code software applications, perform system testing and debugging, work with cross-functional teams, and influence the overall technical strategy and innovation of digital engineering initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

Design and Develop functionality/application for given requirements by focusing on Functional, Non-Functional and Maintenance needs. Collaborates with other members of the development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, proposes design patterns, and ensures scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions. Integrates various software components or systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the solution. Develops and implements detailed test cases, carries out code reviews, performs debugging, and resolves issues to guarantee the reliability, stability, and high quality of solutions. Creates and maintains technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, code documentation, and other relevant documentation while sharing their knowledge and expertise with team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaboration. Participates in agile or other development methodologies, attends meetings, contributes to project planning, and helps drive the progress and success of projects. Support and Troubleshoot production incidents with a sense of urgency by understanding customer impact.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in large scale software development

5+ years of experience in Java / Advanced Java

3+ years of experience in developing services using Spring, Spring boot and Rest APIs.

3+ years of experience working with stakeholders, including Product Management, Engineering, and UX team members.

3+ years of solid experience with OOP and design patterns

1+ years of exposure to any of the leading cloud platforms (GCP, Azure or AWS)

Preferred Qualifications

Functional knowledge and experience of Pharmacy Experience with python / node js Good understanding of regulatory compliances including PCI, PII and PHI Experience promoting proper implementation of Agile processes, techniques, and principles Good knowledge of CI/CD, build automation tools like Jenkins / GitHub Actions Pro-active attitude, highly self-motivated and able to work without constant oversight Excellent communications skills with ability to communicate effectively in visual, verbal, and written form Strong desire to build and test from the start with TDD development experience

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
