Director of Procurement

As a Director of Procurement at Florida’s Natural, you’ll be responsible for leading the company’s strategic sourcing and procurement activities across Indirect Materials and Services, Packaging and Ingredients. This individual will develop and execute procurement strategies that deliver sustainable cost savings, ensure supply continuity, mitigate risk and strengthen supplier partnerships while supporting operational excellence.
What you’ll do:
  • Refine and execute procurement strategy for spend in Packaging, Ingredients, Energy and Indirects/MRO
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities from supplier selection, contract negotiation, cost analysis, risk management, and vendor relationship management.
  • Implement sourcing strategy that aligns best practices along with corporate governance to minimize risk while maximizing operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor commodity markets and industry trends to anticipate cost fluctuations and supply risks; develop hedging or alternative sourcing plans where appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, food safety standards, sustainability goals, and regulatory requirements.
What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Master’s degree in business administration, preferred
  • 7 or more years of progressive experience in procurement, commodity management, or supply chain, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in analyzing business performance metrics and drawing data-driven insights.
  • Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and planning tools.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across teams.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and ethical sourcing is a plus.
  • Must be able to work on-site two days per week.
