Education:
Students enrolled in the Manufacturing Engineer/Technician Co-Op program are required to complete the Certificate of Undergraduate Studies (CUGS) in Advanced Manufacturing. Description:
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer/Technician Co-op Student to join our engineering team. This role offers hands-on experience in manufacturing process development, and production support for high-temperature industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to real-world engineering projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes and workflows.
  • Document processes and changes maintain accurate records of manufacturing procedures.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production staff, quality assurance, and design engineers.
  • Conduct time studies and analysis for efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturing best practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and tools (e.g., CAD, CAM, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and production equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
