Overview

Job title: PepsiCo Beverages: Supply Chain Co-op  Location:Delta, BC Term: 8 Month Fall Term -  September 2026 to April 2027 

Job Type: Onsite

Responsibilities

What Will You do in Your First Experience? 

You will be based out of one of our world class manufacturing facilities in Canada. During your term you will gain critical experiences & skills through improving production efficiencies, innovating business solutions, and implementing process changes. In addition, with our Pep+ goals, you can be a part of charting a new course to drive positive action for the plant, our people and our planet. Throughout the term, you will have the opportunity to showcase your tangible impact by presenting on your contributions to the Supply Chain Leadership team! 

This experience will include motivating a frontline team, problem solving issues, and removing barriers in order to help "win the shift".You will also be responsible for tracking business critical KPIs to identify trends to focus on meaningful projects that advance PepsiCo's journey to be a Faster, Stronger and Better Company.

Additional Skills & Experiences you will Gain:

  • Building people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
  • Applying theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of operations, repair procedures, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance to support facility equipment reliability
  • Executing Annual Operating Plan for Production
  • Achieving performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality
  • Tracking key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
  • Overseeing and assuring facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sciences or similar program 
  • Second year plus students preferred. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people. 
  • Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities. 
  • Collaborative team-player with a "roll-up your sleeves" approach 
  • A passion for and a demonstrated commitment to extra-curricular activities and/or community involvement
