This is a W2 position that requires candidates to be onsite for 2-3 days in a week (Hybrid role).
Job description:
  • As a member of our Software Engineering team, you'll be tasked with uplifting our microservice architecture to enable better capacity elasticity and resilience. Our team is responsible for the automation platform that enables the most mission critical tasks within the firm. The impact you'll make within this team will be massive and it will be leveraged by the most critical functions within the firm. You will also be a critical member of our support as we are also firm believers of supporting the applications we build.

Skills:
  • Core Java
  • Bringing the ownership mentality coupled with best practices
  • Microservices architecture and patterns
  • Messaging platforms, i.e. QPID, Kafka
  • Database proficiency, i.e. Oracle, Postgres
  • API Design, i.e. RESTful
  • Frameworks, i.e. Springboot

Requirements:
  • Proficient in Core Java development skills as well as multiple design techniques
  • Working proficiency in Core Java development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks
  • Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security
