Job description

Manager (System Implementation & Operational Support)

This position is responsible for leading team members to solve software requirements by analyzing, creating, modifying, and maintaining application systems to meet user needs, while overseeing and optimizing end-to-end SAP application operations to ensure system stability, continuous improvement, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for leading team members to solve software requirements by analyzing, creating, modifying, and maintaining application systems to meet user needs, while overseeing and optimizing end-to-end SAP application operations to ensure system stability, continuous improvement, and alignment with business objectives.

Must have the strong ability to use/utilize the followings.

  • Project management experience
  • Non-Japanese vendor management experienceUnderstanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
  • Analytical skills with regard to requirements analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldStrong leadership skills
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with SAP system application implementation, or ERP system applcation operations (experience using SAP or a similar ERP system is preferred)
  • Strong English and Japanese communication skills (both written and verbal) to support customers, report to upper management, as well as to effectively work with the teamCollaborates well with team and project members
  • Ability to work well with a team as well as individuallyAbility to be a good team player with great communication skills, problem-solving skills, criticalthinking, and negotiation skills
Experience
  • Project management experienceNon-Japanese vendor management experience

Certifications
  • SAP Certified Application Associate with ERP Certification (Preferred)
In Our Offices

Core business hours are 9 - 5:30 with one hour unpaid lunch in between. Actual working hours may be slightly different, depending business needs. This positions require in-person office attendance 2 days per week.
