Job description


The Language Doctors, Inc., is a linguistic services provider based in Annapolis, MD. We're currently seeking Japanese into English Medical Translators and Editors to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for linguists with extensive experience in Health, Medicine, and Life Sciences.



Required Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of translation experience in life sciences fields.
  • Native fluency in one language with near-native fluency in the other language.
  • Strong command of medical terminology and vocabulary.
  • Healthcare experience (desirable).
  • Proficiency in SDL Trados Studio
