Job description

An international manufacturing company near the Bardstown, KY area is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their plant. You will oversee Accounting team and activities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience within a manufacturing environment.


This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation. Must be able to work on-site.



Responsibilities:

· Lead accounting team members, collaborate with internal and external teams to fulfill requirements on accounting objectives

· Prepare financial statements

· Reconciles report discrepancies

· Review monthly General Ledger

· Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities

· Create forecasts and perform analysis (identify trends and deficits)

· Work on budget control and analysis to support financial goals


Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance) or equivalent experience required

· Must have 5 or more years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing facility

. Must have Microsoft Dynamics experience (D365)

· Prior relevant management experience

· Must have excellent communication skills

· Must be able to work within a multicultural environment
