Senior Accountant (Bilingual Japanese/English)
Join a well-established organization looking for a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working independently and partnering with leadership to support business decisions.
Pay: $77,000 - $85,000 + Performance Bonus

As the Senior Accountant, You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  • Preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
  • Managing consolidated financial reporting and intercompany transactions.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts.
  • Preparing tax filings and coordinating with external tax advisors.
  • Monitoring project costs and maintaining Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.
  • Assisting with audits, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to management.

Our Ideal Senior Accountant Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Experience with consolidations, intercompany accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in both Japanese and English (written and verbal) required.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
