Job description

WORKING SUPERVISOR ? ORLANDO MARKET

Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Reports To: Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Working Supervisor is responsible for overseeing multiple client locations within the Orlando market while actively supporting field operations. This position combines hands-on janitorial responsibilities with leadership, staffing, training, quality assurance, and customer service. The Working Supervisor ensures all assigned locations maintain Company and Client standards while providing leadership and support to Team Leads and Custodial Personnel.

The successful candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple locations while maintaining staffing levels, quality standards, and operational compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

? Supervise and support Team Leads and Custodial Personnel across multiple assigned locations.

? Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards, staffing coverage, operational compliance, and customer satisfaction.

? Provide operational support and work alongside team members when staffing shortages or business needs arise.

? Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and retain employees for assigned locations.

? Ensure all employees receive proper job training and understand Company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

? Coach and develop Team Leads and employees to improve performance and maintain service standards.

? Maintain positive working relationships with client representatives and respond promptly to operational concerns.

? Monitor workforce scheduling, staffing levels, attendance, and productivity.

? Conduct quality inspections and verify completion of assigned work in accordance with client expectations and Company standards.

? Complete and submit all required reports, documentation, personnel forms, and operational paperwork accurately and timely.

? Communicate employee relations concerns, workplace injuries, safety incidents, and operational issues to management.

? Ensure all assigned locations maintain adequate supplies, chemicals, equipment, and inventory levels.

? Monitor labor utilization, overtime, staffing needs, and operational performance metrics.

? Promote and maintain compliance with all Company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA requirements.

? Participate in daily, weekly, and quarterly operational meetings as required.

? Support special projects, client requests, and additional operational duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

? Directly supervise Team Leads and Custodial Personnel.

? Ensure employees receive proper training and ongoing performance coaching.

? Monitor employee performance and provide corrective action documentation when necessary.

? Assist management with employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

? Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience in the janitorial, facilities maintenance, housekeeping, or related service industry preferred.

? Prior experience managing multiple locations and employees preferred.

? Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

? Ability to effectively train, motivate, and develop employees.

? Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

? Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

? Experience using mobile applications and workforce management systems preferred.

? Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

? Must be authorized to work in the United States.

? Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

? Must be willing to travel throughout the assigned market area.

Work Schedule

? Must be available to work flexible schedules, including overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency operational situations as needed.

? Extensive local travel between assigned client locations is required.

Physical Requirements

? Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

? Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties for extended periods.

? Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle janitorial supplies and materials.

Education

? Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and related supervisory experience preferred.

Probationary Period

? All new employees are subject to an initial ninety (90) day introductory period.
