The work is often performed in the early morning, late evening, or overnight to minimize disruptions to building occupants. Teamwork is common, especially in larger facilities, but many tasks are completed independently. Attention to detail and time management are important, as janitors often follow a set schedule to ensure all assigned areas are cleaned efficiently.
