A day in the life:

The Janitorial Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of janitorial operations, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of janitorial services. The successful candidate will interface with client management and maintenance staff to coordinate and execute cleaning projects, ensuring all quality control expectations and compliance requirements are met. This role is crucial in maintaining high cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do as an Exceptional Team Member
  • Interface with client management and maintenance staff to coordinate and execute janitorial operations
  • Responsible for P&L activities
  • Provide leadership to develop new customers and maintain existing customer base
  • Travel and manage all aspects in the assigned area/territory
  • Perform inspections to monitor and ensure the cleaning quality control expectations are met
  • Manage schedules to ensure contract compliance
  • Review employee performance and ability to execute constructive discipline process
  • Maintain payroll records
  • Maintain all compliance and safety regulations
  • Train, mentor, and support janitorial staff to develop their skills and ensure high performance.
  • Managing expenditures such as labor and supplies to ensure they are in line with the budget
  • Take on additional projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to addressing evolving janitorial operational needs.
What you'll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member
  • 3-5 years managing janitorial operations
  • Experience with client management, including building strong relationships, addressing client needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility with hours and schedule
  • Technical knowledge of all aspects of janitorial service delivery
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Ability to perform short and long-range planning
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
