What You Will Be Doing

The Janitorial Supervisorwill help lead their shift and assist in the direction of janitorial employees. You will ensure the smooth running of operations and jump in when necessary. In the Team Lead role, you ensure customer satisfaction and target goals are met. This role also ensures that employees comply with the company policies and procedures, including safety procedures.

  • 4:00pm – 12:30am
  • Merritt Island, Florida

Janitorial Supervisor Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the site manager to ensure the scope of work is met.
  • Supervise thequality of work producedduring yourshift.
  • Effectively communicate work assignments and expectations to team members.
  • Assist the site manager in implementing work standards for team members in accordance with company policies and practices.
  • Monitor, measure,and reportshift performance to the site manager.
  • Keep stock of inventory in supply closets and storage sheds, informing the site manager when supplies need to be ordered.
  • Follow guidelines for proper maintenance of allcleaningequipment.
  • Run the floor machine as needed.
  • Ensure that health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift.
  • Train new employees.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
  • Respond to customer complaints,ensuring proper handling to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties,as assigned bythe site manager.

Janitorial Team Lead Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 2+years of janitorialexperience,required.
  • 1+yearof supervising experience,required.
  • Floor care experience is a plus.+
  • Possessa positiveand encouragingattitude.
  • Work well under minimal supervision.
  • Strongverbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to follow directionsand ask for clarificationwhenappropriate.
  • Able to use a computer andfamiliar withMicrosoft 365 products(Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. –  We Use E-Verify

Additional Considerations

  • Mustmaintainregular and reliable attendance at a level acceptable to the company, including the ability to work overtime, holidays,eveningsorweekendsas necessary.
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of timeand walk up to 5 miles per shift.
