Site Manager

Position Overview:

The Site Manager reports directly to the National Director of Operations in overseeing janitorial operations, staff performance, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing janitorial contracts, ensuring the highest levels of service and client satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex operations.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions of this position include, but not limited to:

  • Leadership and Client Liaison
    • Report to the National Director of Operations and serve as the primary client liaison
    • Represent ServiceMaster by Crane IFS in client meetings, audits, and reviews
    • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions to maintain KPI compliance
    • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring client satisfaction and contract compliance
    • Maintain an active on-site presence to support operations and resolve issues
    • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Lead and mentor janitorial staff, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with cleanliness standards
    • Provide hands-on training to supervisory staff and oversee train-the-trainer development programs
    • Develop and adjust staffing schedules to meet operational, coverage, and budget requirements
  • Operational Oversight and Performance Monitoring
    • Monitor contract performance, including financial and service metrics
    • Partner with internal teams to optimize operations and drive continuous improvement
    • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with contract scope and project requirements
    • Prepare and submit required daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Inventory, Equipment & Budget Management
    • Manage labor, materials, and overtime within budget requirements
    • Manage supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate inventory levels, cost control, and proper maintenance
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Partner with HR and administrative teams to support onboarding, training, payroll accuracy, and employee issue resolution
    • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations
    • Remain available outside regular business hours to address urgent operational or safety issues as needed

  • Strong leadership, team development, performance management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
  • Frequent standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and crawling
  • Must be able to work in varying warehouse environments, including exposure to noise, heat, cold, and indoor/outdoor conditions
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds frequently
