Job Description

JOB DUTIES: 

-Second-level professional technical support and primarily responsible for resolving complex technical issues.

-Serves as escalation point for other technical support staff in subject matter areas. 

-Develop, refine and support deployment processes for operating systems and software package distributions to end computing devices. 

-Ensure technology implementations meet business needs and goals, fulfills user requirements and continually identify and resolve system issues. 

-Collaborate with Service Directors, Line Managers and team on process improvements. 

-Conduct analysis on ticket trends and/or service metrics to recommend improvement and often lead the implementation process. 

-Work with IT professionals and end users to assess system and training needs for applications and packages supported. 

-Create, coordinate, and conduct IT training and educational programs for IT professionals. 

-Develop and implement documentation policies as well as standards and procedures. 

-Develop comprehensive test plans and ensure they are thoroughly analyzed to provide information for process improvement. 

-Participate in service staff team meetings; bring and present on current EUS challenges and provide solutions. 

-Research and participate in relevant training opportunities and resources to stay current on workstation support technologies and industry developments. 

-Accurately track and report effort spent on assigned services.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

 -BA/BS degree in a related field and two (2) years of related work experience or four (4) years of related experience with a non-related degree. 

-Experience with development and distribution of software packages and operating systems to end devices utilizing Microsoft ConfigMgr (SCCM). 

-Scripting experience with one or more of the following: Visual Basic (VB), Powershell, Python, Perl, JavaScript or batch. 

-Experience supporting multiple operating systems 

-Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting a variety of applications (resident and virtual) as requested by customer. 


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

-Experience utilizing tools for monitoring and reporting metrics within a computer management and software development and delivery environment; focusing on performance, capacity, optimization and areas of expansion. 

-Experience managing organizational units within an Active Directory Domain Services. 

-Experience utilizing Microsoft App-V, JAMF Casper, Citrix XenDesktop or XenApp. 

-Familiarity with ITIL good practices and procedures. 

-Ability to address advanced technical enhancements and requests for service. 

-Excellent problem solving, organization, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. 

-Excellent Customer service and organizational skills 

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

-Excellent trending and data analysis skills.
