Location: Northern VA/MD

The Territory Sales Manager (Foursight Solutions) is responsible for the promotion, demonstration, and sale of Topcon construction technology products and other related machine positioning/control solutions. Key focuses include new business development, customer retention, focused marketing promotions, and outstanding customer service. Territory includes Manassas, Winchester, into Maryland.

Responsibilities include:

· Create sales opportunities for Topcon technology products and related machine positioning/control solutions in the assigned territory.

· Manage all steps of the sales process from lead generation to closing.

· Energetically pursue new business independently and directly develop and maintain lasting relationships with customers.

· Maintain expert-level knowledge of all applicable products and serve as a technical advisor to customers and coworkers.

· Schedule and conduct product demonstrations on customer jobsites; operate heavy machinery and grade control equipment, such as GPS base and rover.

· Identify and communicate various solutions to customers within the dealership’s area of responsibility.

· Create thorough and informative customer proposals.

· Ensure proper record-keeping practices are followed, including daily CRM upkeep.

· Provide annual sales forecast and participate in monthly sales performance reviews.

· Monitor market conditions and competitor products, pricing.

· Address customer concerns and furnish timely responses to resolve problems in a satisfactory manner.

· Secure payment for goods and services sold; assist with the collection of open invoices on customer accounts.

· When necessary, assist with the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and installation of grade control and machine technology systems.

· Travel as required, primarily within territory.

· Maintain a clean work area; care for and safeguard assets; participate in regular product inventory audits.

· Uphold a high regard for safety on company and customer premises.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Current Qualifications:

· Three or more years of experience in outside sales is required.

· Five or more years of experience with heavy construction machinery and/or construction GPS grade technology products is required.

· Knowledge of local markets, Topcon products and/or competitive equipment is preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Survey, a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.

· Ability to present and negotiate exceptionally well in high-stakes situations.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong time management and organizational skills.
