Are you an experienced siding installer looking for an exciting opportunity in the thriving construction industry? We are seeking a reliable and skilled crew to join our team in San Antonio, TX, specializing in James Hardie fiber cement siding installation. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to high-quality construction projects in the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Hardie Siding Installation: Proficiently install James Hardie fiber cement siding according to industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality of workmanship and attention to detail in all siding installations to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Timeline Management: Complete projects within specified timelines, coordinating with project managers to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and the team.
  • Material Handling: Responsible for proper handling, cutting, and installation of James Hardie siding materials to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with project managers, team members, and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in James Hardie fiber cement siding installation.
  • All crew members must have the necessary licenses and insurance coverage required for independent contracting.
  • Southwest Exteriors’ requirements are a minimum of $2 million in coverage for Comprehensive General Liability and $1 million for Workers Compensation, as well as Automobile Liability Insurance.
  • The certificate holder on the Certificate of Insurance must be shown as

  • Provide your own tools and equipment, including nail guns (trim & coil), saws, ladders and pump jacks, etc.
  • Have a valid driver’s license, and have reliable means of transportation for yourself, your crew, and your tools and equipment.
  • Consistent track record of meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
  • Prioritize safety on the job site and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients.
  • Ability to pass a background check and show proof of eligibility to work in the US.
