Pay Range- $33,100.08 - $39,305.04 (BH-041-010)

About Us: Established in 1975 by an act of the Virginia General Assembly, the Capital Region Airport Commission owns and operates Richmond International Airport (RIC). The Commission directs the growth, operation and business activities of RIC and works tirelessly to ensure it continues to be an affordable option for local, regional, and out-of-state travelers.

Description of responsibilities: The Maintenance Mechanic will be part of a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all Baggage Conveyor System (BCS) equipment throughout the airport.

Required experience:

  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience working with mechanical components relating to conveyer systems is preferred.

Required skills:

  • Must be able to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds in small spaces for extended periods of up to 15 minutes, multiple times each day.
  • They should possess good mechanical skills.
