Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Pallet Jack Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement, loading, and unloading of materials within the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, including proficiency with pallet jacks and heavy equipment operation, to support seamless shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes. Duties: Pallet Jack Operator:
  • Operate pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely to load and unload shipments efficiently.
  • Assist with order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillment.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement within storage areas.
  • Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment contents against documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate heavy lifting tasks and optimize material flow.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling and heavy equipment operation.
  • Assist in inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and cycle counting.
