Job Details:

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Position is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs

Perform preventing maintenance

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipment

Minimize downtime due to equipment failure

Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift

Handle all mechanical problems that may arise

Ensure work area is clean at all time

Record keeping and attention to detail

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly during shift

Ability to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally

Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day

Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping

Frequent overhead work

Basic Math skills: percentages, fractions, and measurements

Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification

Must have a minimum 1 year mechanical work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 1-year)
