Position Overview The Senior Project Manager will support the relevant branch chief to organize, coordinate, plan, and execute activities which support major analytical tasks. The Senior Project Manager shall be responsible for assigning, scheduling, and providing configuration control and quality assurance of deliverables; and establishing and altering project organization to provide effective support to major analytical tasks. Essential Job Function * Support the relevant branch chief to organize, coordinate, plan, and execute activities for major analytical tasks
* Assign, schedule, and provide configuration control and quality assurance of deliverables
* Establish and alter project organization to provide effective support to major analytical tasks
* Ensure conformance to task specifications and major analytical task provisions
* Develop and maintain a project schedule for each major analytic task showing all tasks, durations, dependencies, and deliverables
* Support or lead initial and interim reviews of major analytical tasks including Capability Portfolio Management Reviews, Nimble Fire, Homeland Defense, Cruise Missile Combat Identification, and JRICM
* Prepare briefings, draft point papers, and write information papers at required security classification levels Minimum Qualifications * Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
* Master's degree in a technical or management discipline
* At least fifteen (15) years of professional experience
* At least ten (10) years managing complex DoD projects involving a large number of people in subordinate groups Desired Qualifications * Experience supporting the Joint Staff, OSD, Service HQ, or CCMD HQ * Familiarity with Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) mission areas
