Position Overview The Financial Management Support professional will support all of JIAMDO and will be responsible for financial analysis and technical support. This position requires interaction with the Project Managers, Joint Staff Comptroller Office, J8 Chief of the Resource Acquisition and Management Office (RAMO), Air Force Financial Services Accounting Liaison Office (ALO), Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) operating locations, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Washington Headquarter Services (WHS), and various organizations that routinely conduct financial transactions with JIAMDO. Essential Job Function * Assist JIAMDO with the routing of financial transactions through J8 and Joint Staff Comptroller's office
* Prepare and distribute JIAMDO funding documents to approved agencies using accounting systems such as CRIS and CABS
* Track JIAMDO funds after distribution to approved agencies to acknowledge acceptance for reimbursable or direct purposes
* Accurately record and track funding documents to ensure funding targets at all levels have not been exceeded
* Utilize applicable accounting systems and financial tracking systems to track funding documents through the stages of accounting
* Project funding requirements through the end of the Period of Performance and advise the Government on execution planning
* Ensure the Government is apprised of anticipated shortages of funds in a timely manner Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field * At least five (5) years of professional experience, preferably in Accounting and Government Comptroller functions within the DoD * Active TS, SCI and SAP eligible. Desired Qualifications * Experience with Commanders' Resource Integration System (CRIS) and Comptroller's Accounting and Budget System (CABS) * Experience with Joint Staff or J8 financial processes
